The Tibey Collection is known for its fascinating color combinations and sometimes mysterious extras. It's worth taking a closer look at the TB21. The color ensemble of beige, gray and silver leaves a harmonious overall impression without appearing boring. Instead, numerous nuances of carefully selected colors create exciting contrasts.
The arrangement of light and dark facets is reminiscent of an extraordinary play of light and shadow. Due to the flat pattern, both appear to merge into one another in a flowing and random manner. But upon closer inspection, it quickly becomes clear that nothing was left to chance designer carpet
The pattern was mirrored in the middle, although not exactly, but with deliberately incorporated deviations. As a result, there are natural-looking details that invite discovery and at the same time give the interior a calming ambience.

Best natural material for excellent quality
The Tibey TB21 is made from 50 percent silk and highland wool from the Himalayas and combines the outstanding advantages of these first-class natural fibers. On the one hand, silk is known for its gentle shimmer, which enriches the carpet surface with a stylish shine. On the other hand, silk retains its shape, is robust and tear-resistant, which makes the TibeyTB21 more durable.
The processed wool of the highland sheep is responsible for their insensitivity to dirt. The high wool wax content serves as a natural protective layer against stains. The wool content also improves the room climate: wool is breathable, has a moisture-regulating effect and inhibits odors. Not to forget the absorption of sound, which optimizes the acoustics in rooms.
Careful knotting work, experience and fair trade
The look and feel of the Tibey TB21 benefit from the loop & cut structure, which is incorporated by hand during carpet production. The Nepal carpet is knotted alternately in silk and wool by experienced weavers. While the wool lines (loop) remain closed, the silk lines are cut open.
This knotting technique breaks up the design slightly, creating an aesthetic pile with an attractive shine. Since the rows of knotted silk are elevated, the visual and tactile impression of a pure silk carpet . The surface feels pleasantly soft and guarantees a fantastic walking experience.
Mischioff appreciates the traditional art of carpet weaving in Nepalese culture and is committed to fair working conditions.
