But it's not just the design of the Tibey TB31 that makes the music, the knotting technology also ensures the melodious sound. Wool and silk are connected in equal proportions using the Loop & Cut knotting technique. While the silk line is cut open (cut), the wool line remains closed (loop).
Because the silk rows are slightly raised, the carpet feels like a pure silk carpet : unmistakably soft and flattering to the hand. The slightly deeper rows of wool ensure traction and robustness. Even after years of use, this designer carpet continue to develop its full radiance.

Because we love our carpets, but of course also because we care about the people who work for us, we have been working with the Swiss fair trade label STEP for years.
Controlled, fair conditions are a must for everything that bears the Mischioff name. From raw material extraction through delivery and production to the end customer, we want to avoid any discord and disharmony.
