The lucky carpet
Svarga SV02
Warming rays of sunshine, the world becoming more colorful, the sky blue again, the landscapes slowly turning green – that's April. It heralds hope and confidence, makes the days longer again, and leaves behind the darkness of the past season.
No other carpet collection is as fitting for this month as the Svarga collection of pure silk carpets. For our inspiration this April, we've therefore chosen our Svarga SV02. Uniquely radiant, captivating in its color brilliance, and a true eye-catcher.
Pure attraction
The Svarga SV02 is a rug from the Svarga Collection , which brings together the finest Mischioff silk rugs. With a pile height of 20 to 22 millimeters, each rug in this collection offers a tactile experience that is simply irresistible to walk on barefoot. A rug simply cannot be softer or gentler.
If you were ever to touch a silk rug of this exclusivity, you would immediately feel its magical allure. It has long been known that the human body also evaluates every touch emotionally. And the more pleasant a touch is perceived to be, the more endorphins are released from our brain. These endorphins, in turn, make us feel more relaxed and serene. Our Svarga SV02, therefore, possesses everything that makes a truly exceptional rug.
High-pile silk carpet with exceptional look and feel
The Svarga SV02's appearance is no less captivating than its feel. Mischioff's chief designer, Dani Misio, has departed from the usual monochrome and simplicity of high-pile carpets , demonstrating that sophisticated design is possible even with high-pile structures. The blue, turquoise, beige, yellow, and gold grid lines of the Svarga SV02 are stylishly contrasted by a rich black, giving the carpet its luxurious expressiveness.
The appeal and expression of this masterpiece are unique in their effect and reflect the combination of everything that contributed to the creation of the Svarga carpet: sophisticated craftsmanship, creative design and, of course, the exclusive use of precious Chinese silk.
Production under fair conditions
Our Svarga SV02 wouldn't be a truly lucky rug if all supply and production chains weren't designed from the very beginning to be fair and based on mutual cooperation. Often, months of handwork go into a single rug. The fair conditions at the Mischioff Manufactory in Nepal are guaranteed by STEP certification. This label has adorned all Mischioff Nepal rugs and is a guarantee of sustainable production conditions and social responsibility.
160,000 knots per square meter are required to create the unique character of a Svarga SV02. Such a high knot density is made possible by the high-quality Chinese silk, which can be knotted very thinly. The density of the pile makes the rug extremely durable and suitable for a wide variety of living spaces. Whether in the living room or bedroom, this silk rug will retain its appeal for many years to come.
