Sichouk SI38 made of pure silk

The SI38 model, designed by Mischioff chief designer Dani Misio, sets standards with a spectacular play of colors of brown, silver gray and black.

In combination with fine leather, selected wooden surfaces or minimalist-looking furniture, the Sichouk SI38 becomes a real work of art. With its dark overall impression and unmistakable silky shine, it brings comfort into the interior.

At the same time, you benefit from an incomparable tactile experience, benefited by a pile height of approximately nine millimeters and the gentle character of the silk fibers. The weight of around 3.8 kilograms per square meter also has an advantageous effect, especially since heavy carpets reduce the risk of slipping to a minimum.

At the highest level: material selection and workmanship

Like all carpets in the Sichouk Collection, the SI38 is made from 100 percent silk. The natural material has the finest shine, which is highlighted during carpet production. Every step is carried out carefully by hand, every silk fiber is treated gently to achieve perfect results.

The Tibetan knot is used when tying, a complex technique for particularly even and long-lasting structures. The SI38 ultimately has around 160,000 knots per square meter. The knotting process takes several months and is completed with careful finishing.
