Sichouk SI38 made of pure silk

The SI38 model, designed by Mischioff chief designer Dani Misio, sets standards with a spectacular interplay of brown, silver-grey and black.

The pattern resulting from the contrast between dark and light shades is captivating without being obtrusive. On the contrary: despite its geometric design with overlapping grids, this decorative piece can be harmoniously integrated into any setting.

Combined with fine leather, select wood surfaces, or minimalist furniture, the Sichouk SI38 becomes a true work of art. With its dark overall appearance and unmistakable silky sheen, it brings a sense of comfort to the interior.

At the same time, you benefit from an unparalleled tactile experience, enhanced by a pile height of approximately nine millimeters and the soft nature of the silk fibers. The weight of around 3.8 kilograms per square meter is also advantageous, as heavy carpets minimize the risk of slipping.

At the highest level: material selection and workmanship

Like all carpets in the Sichouk Collection , the SI38 is made from 100% silk. This natural material possesses a subtle sheen, which is accentuated during the carpet's production. Every step is meticulously done by hand, and each silk fiber is treated gently to achieve perfect results.

The Tibetan knot is used in the knotting process, an elaborate technique for creating particularly even and durable structures. The SI38 ultimately features approximately 160,000 knots per square meter. The knotting work takes several months and is completed with a careful finishing touch.
