Pure elegance without compromise

Berber carpets are very popular among connoisseurs. Even renowned architects and designers such as Alvar Aalto, Le Corbusier, and Ray and Charles Eames appreciated the traditional motifs and monochrome versions for furnishing private spaces.

Mischioff combines tradition with modernity in the Marouk Collection . Classic motifs are reinterpreted, and sustainable natural materials are transformed into robust carpets through careful knotting.

The Marouk MK40 delights design enthusiasts with its asymmetrical pattern typical of Berber rugs . Large, irregular diamonds in black are presented on a light-colored base pile of undyed natural wool.

Because neither the edges nor the structure are completely dyed and straight, but rather uneven and slightly speckled, the transitions appear understated and soft. These natural color variations, also called "abrashes," give the rug its charming look with gentle shades and contrasts.

Even a playful interior design concept can be enhanced with this Nepalese rug : Thanks to its timeless color scheme, it harmonizes with expressive colors and serves as a solid basis for a distinctive style.

100% Himalayan highland wool for maximum durability

To ensure a very fair price-performance ratio and shorter delivery times, the products in the Marouk Collection are knotted somewhat more loosely than other Mischioff carpet lines. This also allows for quick and easy custom orders. Those who appreciate a dense pile, achieved in this wool carpet with approximately 93,000 knots per square meter, need not fear any compromise in quality.

The pile height of approximately ten to twelve millimeters is also noteworthy, as it makes the surface pleasantly grippy. The Marouk MK40 weighs about four kilograms per square meter – this eliminates the need for anti-slip underlay on most surfaces, further enhancing its everyday usability.
