Introducing the Tibey C2204-P15 from the Tibey Collection. This collection features a variety of exclusive rugs, prized for their exceptionally high silk content and unique loop & cut knotting technique.
This unique knotting system gives the rug designs a slightly broken-up look, creating a modern vintage feel. Depending on the viewing angle, the observer sees different patterns and color combinations. Thanks to its special structure and contrasting colors, the Tibey C2204-P15 is a striking and decorative interior accessory, a designer piece that will delight in many living rooms.
Exciting optics thanks to loop & cut structure
Its changing appearance and exceptional structure make the Tibey C2204-P15 truly unique. This designer rug features a special linear structure: knotted alternately in wool and silk, only the silk line is cut – the wool line remains closed, thus receding slightly into the background.
This is how the exciting structure, the subtle vintage look and the slightly iridescent appearance of this exclusive, modern carpet .
The Tibey C2204-P15 combines classic and abstract design elements, created through the successful combination and layering of individual elements within the design. The classically inspired ornaments in the soft pinkish-red hue of this high-quality designer rug are irregularly overlaid by contrasting colors, creating a truly "overgrown" effect.
The Tibey C2204-P15 also features striking black loops that visually break up the design and further emphasize the exceptional colors of the silk.
High-quality carpets at fair conditions
Like all carpets in the Tibey Collection , the C2204-P15 also comes from a Mischioff partner manufactory in Nepal. Here, experienced weavers produce the first-class carpets entirely by hand – with a knot density of approximately 160,000 knots per square meter.
Mischioff uses only exclusive materials for the Tibey C2204-P15: high-quality virgin wool from the Himalayan highlands and fine silk from China. This exquisite blend of materials is precisely what gives the Tibey carpets their exceptionally elegant look and feel. Despite the high silk content, the Tibey C2204-P15 is very durable and easy to care for with regular vacuuming. Like all Mischioff products, our design adheres to the guidelines of the Fair Trade label STEP – a well-known, independent, international organization for fair carpet trading .
Available from stock or custom-made to your specifications
In addition to the practical standard size of approximately 300 x 230 cm, which is available from stock, the carpets of the Tibey Collection can also be ordered in individual desired sizes, and sometimes also in desired colors.
The delivery time for carpets from stock is typically 4-5 business days. Custom-made carpets generally require a production time of approximately four months. This timeframe depends on the size of the carpet – please contact our customer service team beforehand!
