Mamlin MA13
The carpet design MA13 from the Mamlin Collection celebrated its first major appearance at the imm cologne 2019. Both private and commercial interested parties were enthusiastic about the look, which is characterized by a harmonious color gradient.
But it wasn't just the visual appeal of the product that attracted visitors to the Swiss Carpet manufactory stand. The inviting feel was also convincing and brought the exhibitor numerous inquiries as an indicator of quality. The mixture of silk and highland wool combines an elegant shine with a soft surface structure. Read here why taking a look at the Mamlin MA13 is worth it in every respect.
Art in textile form – the Mamlin MA13 conveys serenity
When Dani Misio, artist and chief designer at Mischioff, exhibited a series of oil paintings in an art gallery in Zurich about ten years ago, he had no idea that the design would one day become a sought-after carpet collection. It has now become clear that staging his striped images in the form of carpet designs is very successful.
Mamlin Collection presented here as inspiration is the design MA13. It was presented publicly for the first time at the imm cologne 2019 and immediately turned out to be a magnet for visitors.
Typical of Mamlin carpets, the design is made up of a multitude of fine lines to create a work of art. With its arrangement of multi-faceted brown and beige tones, complemented by gray and silver elements, MA13 skilfully rounds off the collection.
The use of subtle nuances forms an unobtrusive contrast to the sometimes expressive colors that are also represented in the carpet series. The Mamlin MA13 attracts attention with its harmonious color version and represents the natural living trend. Warm earth tones flow into cool gray and silver, together creating a striped color gradient with gentle transitions.
In the center of the designer carpet , a light central aisle framed by dark sides opens its way and invites the viewer to walk along the carpet. Its elegant appearance leaves a calming overall impression and enriches modern facilities with comfort.
Natural fibers and handcraft for the highest quality standards
The combination of silk and wool from the Himalayas produces excellent properties. While silk ensures a shimmering shine and shape retention, highland wool makes Mamlin carpets insensitive to dirt. The high wool wax content serves as a natural protective layer against stains and promotes a flawless appearance. The acoustics and the room climate also benefit from the sound-absorbing and moisture-regulating functions.
The careful handwork also contributes to the quality. The Nepalese weavers have valuable knowledge and the necessary experience to achieve precise results based on design templates. Like all Mischioff Nepal carpets, the Mamlin MA13 is hand-knotted.
Loop & Cut structure ensures a modern look
The innovative Loop & Cut knotting technique is used: rows of silk knots are raised and are cut open, which brings out the shine of the natural fiber to its best advantage. silk carpet is created . Rows of knotted wool remain closed (loop) and lie in the background. The design is excitingly accentuated and highlighted by black loops.
The positive feedback at the international furniture and furnishings trade fair imm cologne confirms the high potential that the designer carpet brings with it. Take advantage of its appeal and let your rooms shine in new splendor with an exclusive carpet. If you are an interior design expert and are looking for suitable accessories for a particularly demanding project, you are also well advised with the Mamlin Collection.
