Tibey TB17
With this inspiration we present you a real design highlight from our very popular Tibey Collection. The TB17 carpet was presented for the first time at the IMM International Furniture Fair in Cologne and was an eye-catcher at the Mischioff trade fair stand.
And not just there: As one of 20 selected new products, the Tibey TB17 was exhibited as a 3D hologram as part of the Stylepark Selected exhibition at MAKK Cologne. Find out more about this special, modern carpet and its advantages.
Expressive design carpet with a special structure
The Tibey TB17 impresses in many ways. With its exciting design and expressive colors, the designer rug a real eye-catcher and gives any interior a special flair.
The design combines geometric shapes with classic motifs and is a real milestone in the world of modern carpet design, created by Mischioff chief designer Dani Misio. The bright colors emphasize and accentuate the design and make the Tibey TB17 a very special eye-catcher.
The innovative structure also contributes to the special nature of the carpet. The Tibey TB17 is made with the Loop & Cut knotting structure, in which the design is highlighted with different pile heights.
A monochrome, black knotted line made of wool lies slightly in the background (loop) as a closed row and breaks up the design slightly. The higher silk design line overlaps the lower wool line in a slightly irregular manner, creating an iridescent look for the carpet depending on the viewing angle. Because the silk line is elevated, the carpet feels like a pure silk carpet and exudes a special elegance.
Awarded the Stylepark Selected Award 2018
The Tibey TB17 was given a special honor as part of the Stylepark Selected competition: For the first time at IMM Cologne 2018, the renowned architecture platform Stylepark selected a total of 20 new products from the furniture and furnishings industry and presented them in a special exhibition.
In addition to special sofas, armchairs and other furnishing elements, our Tibey TB17 carpet was not only awarded the Stylepark Selected Award, but was also exhibited as a 3D hologram in the Museum of Applied Arts Cologne (MAKK). We are pleased about this award for the carpet and our design work.
