Tibey TB17
With this inspiration, we present a true design highlight from our very popular Tibey Collection. The TB17 rug was first presented at the IMM Cologne international furniture fair and was the eye-catcher at the Mischioff booth.
And not only there: As one of 20 selected new products, the Tibey TB17 was exhibited as a 3D hologram at the Stylepark Selected exhibition at the MAKK in Cologne. Learn more about this special, modern rug and its advantages.
Expressive designer rug with a unique texture
The Tibey TB17 impresses in many ways. With its exciting design and expressive colors, this designer rug a real eye-catcher and lends a special flair to any interior.
The design combines geometric shapes with classic motifs and is a true milestone in the world of modern carpet design, created by Mischioff's chief designer, Dani Misio. The vibrant colors emphasize and accentuate the design, making the Tibey TB17 a real eye-catcher.
The innovative structure also contributes to the carpet's unique character. The Tibey TB17 is crafted using a loop and cut knotting technique, where varying pile heights are used to accentuate the design.
A solid black wool knotting line lies in a closed loop in the background, subtly breaking up the design. The raised silk design line overlaps the lower wool line in a slightly irregular fashion, creating a shimmering effect that changes depending on the viewing angle. Because the silk line is elevated, the rug feels like a pure silk carpet and exudes a special elegance.
Awarded the Stylepark Selected Award 2018
The Tibey TB17 received a special honor as part of the Stylepark Selected competition: The renowned architecture platform Stylepark selected a total of 20 new products from the furniture and interior design industry for the first time at IMM Cologne 2018 and presented them in a special exhibition.
In addition to our distinctive sofas, armchairs, and other furnishings, our Tibey TB17 rug not only received the Stylepark Selected Award but was also exhibited as a 3D hologram at the Museum of Applied Arts Cologne (MAKK). We are delighted with this recognition of the rug and our design work.
