Mediterranean flair

Circlism C03

With the Circlism C03, designer Dani Misio has created an attractive work of art for decorative design of the floor. Thanks to the harmonious color gradient with friendly nuances, the home accessories set impressive accents and exude a good mood.

In the world of knotting, circles are one of the most complex challenges. The highest level of precision and care is crucial in order to implement the artistic designs visually perfectly. Without craftsmanship and experience, the implementation of the complex color and design specifications would be unthinkable. It takes around four months before a Circlism C03 passes the strict quality control.

The perfect mix: subtle colors and expressive contrasts

The Circlism C03 combines subtle and striking colors. Brown, orange, red and beige set the tone, while turquoise skilfully rounds off the design. Thanks to the concentration on warm colors, the carpet impresses with its extremely homely character.

What is special are the around 2,500 elaborately incorporated circles. Each one was designed individually and is characterized by varied symmetries. Only when you look closely at the elements does the artistic diversity become clear.

Exclusive quality: Handcrafted from the best material

The basis for the powerful colors and supple surfaces is the use of highland wool from the Himalayas. The natural material has optimal properties for carpet production: extremely robust, resistant, good thermal insulation, high restorative power, dirt and water repellent, easy to care for and moisture regulating.

The positive aspects of the selected natural material give carpets a pleasant feel and a special walking feeling. The latter is promoted by a gentle pile with a height of around 10 millimeters.

Wool also helps to improve the living environment as the fibers can absorb over 35 percent of their own weight in water vapor. The wool carpet also regulates the humidity.

160,000 knots per square meter for luxurious structures

The production is carried out entirely by hand by experienced weavers in the Mischioff carpet Manufactory in Nepal. The Tibetan knot is used here. This knotting technique and the high number of knots (around 160,000 per square meter) are ideal conditions for long-lasting and even surfaces. The density corresponds to a weight of around four kilograms per square meter, which in turn ensures that the carpet does not slip when walked on.

However, Mischioff doesn't just value a perfect result. Socially responsible production and sustainability are equally important . Fair wages and working conditions as well as environmentally friendly processing techniques are a matter of course for the partner of the fair trade label STEP. The Mischioff brand on the back of the carpet serves as a globally recognized quality feature.
