Mamlin MA18
The combination of natural materials virgin wool and silk shines brightly from the heart of the Mamlin MA18, which is encircled by a delicate, dark blue border.
It was almost as if the night sky wanted to embrace the starlight forever. The light spread out in rays that encompass all colors.
Subtle shades of red, orange, blue, and earth tones flow along the thicker, white lines. The design originates from Mischioff designer Dani Misio, who is not only at home in the world of carpets but also a creative force on canvas. The entire Mamlin Collection is inspired by a canvas artwork by Dani Misio that is on display.
A difficult implementation, but worthwhile
The transfer from canvas to carpet wasn't as easy as some might think for the Mamlin collection, as the lines and color changes are not easy to Weaving . Nevertheless, the design idea never completely disappeared – thankfully, because otherwise the unique Mamlin collection wouldn't exist.
Unlike other Mamlin design rugs , which always feature solid-colored knotted rows of highland wool as closed loops in the background, the Mamlin MA18 has alternating colorful lines that give the rug a unique charm.
The innovative loop and cut knotting structure allows the colors to recede into the background, yet still defines this special rug. Anyone who appreciates a playful yet detailed look will find this modern rug perfect.
A mix of rough and smooth
While the high-quality virgin wool from the Himalayan highlands provides warmth and brings a touch of rugged nature to the carpet, fine silk from China runs gently and shimmering through the Mamlin artworks.
