Our current inspiration is the Tibey CX2214-X711. The striking designer carpet comes from the Tibey Collection and is particularly impressive with its unique material combination of high-quality silk and exclusive Himalayan highland wool.
The more than ten different, modern colors create a harmonious overall look with gentle color transitions. Black loops are the basis for the striking contrasts of the design and break it up slightly. The overall appearance of the carpet is subconsciously reminiscent of a coral reef - which is why it also bears the name of the sunken city of Atlantis.
Modern designer carpet with innovative Loop & Cut knotting technique
The Tibey CX2214-X711 is manufactured using a very special knotting technique. It is knotted alternately in wool and silk, with only the silk line being cut. Because the wool line remains closed, it sits slightly lower in the background and breaks up the design of the carpet slightly.
Thanks to the slightly broken, exciting loop & cut structure, the carpet is a real highlight not only visually but also haptically, almost like a pure silk carpet .
Abstract patterns serve as the basis for this unique design, and their reflection creates a pleasant symmetry for the viewer. Expressive colors skilfully round off the special look of this modern designer carpet .

This carpet made of 70 percent Himalayan highland wool and 30 percent silk with almost 160,000 knots per square meter in the standard size of 300 x 230 centimeters transforms every room into something special.
