Our Thaila Plain Collection carpets are only plain at first glance. If you look closely, you can see gentle structures that run cleverly through the basic pile. The individual color gradients and subtle color gradations give each carpet a slightly iridescent look, thanks to a special color mixture.

Sixteen selected basic colors are available as standard to skilfully complement existing furnishing elements. For special color requests, the appropriate color can also be freely selected from further 1,400 colors and shades.
The arrangement of basic colors provides suitable options for every style. For example, while noble gray serves as a timeless classic and earth colors achieve a balancing effect, reddish brown, orange and turquoise form a welcome contrast. The inconspicuous structures emphasize the naturalness and at the same time highlight the furniture.

Plain carpets with natural color gradients
The carpets in the Thaila Plain Collection are made entirely by hand in Nepal, exactly according to customer requirements. All processes – from spinning the raw materials into knotting yarn to weaving and finishing – are carried out by hand.
Experienced specialists use a traditional knotting technique and give the manufactory products a dense pile with around 160,000 knots per square meter. You determine the dimensions. Whether rectangular, round or square : every order is carried out precisely. Plain Carpets made from high-quality natural materials
In addition to size and color, you determine the material composition. You can choose from wool carpets made from 100% high-quality Himalayan highland wool, silk carpets made from 100 percent of the finest Chinese silk or a mixture of the two natural fibers mentioned. In the combined version, either two threads of wool are mixed with one thread of silk (33% silk content) or two threads of silk are mixed with one thread of wool (66% silk content), which enhances the delicate shine and pleasant feel.
The materials also influence the color structuring: Due to their characteristics, color gradients are perceived to different degrees, but they all offer a dynamic look. This gives every Thaila Plain carpet its unmistakable charm. Hand-knotted carpets impress with their maximum quality.
