Our Thaila Plain Collection rugs only appear to be solid colors at first glance. Upon closer inspection, subtle textures become apparent, subtly woven throughout the pile. The individual color gradients and discreet gradations give each rug a slightly iridescent look, a result of a special dye blend.

For specific color requests, the perfect shade can also be freely chosen from an additional 1,400 colors and shades.

While, for example, elegant gray serves as a timeless classic and earth tones create a balancing effect, reddish-brown, orange, and turquoise provide a welcome contrast. Plain carpets with natural color gradients
The carpets in the Thaila Plain Collection are handcrafted in Nepal, made precisely to customer specifications. All processes – from spinning the raw materials to the knotting yarn, through Weaving , to finishing – are done by hand.
Experienced craftsmen use a traditional knotting technique, giving the Manufactory products a dense pile with approximately 160,000 knots per square meter. You determine the dimensions. Plain Carpets made from high-quality natural materials
In addition to size and color, you determine the material composition. The options include wool carpets made from 100% high-quality Himalayan highland wool, silk carpets made from 100% finest Chinese silk, or a blend of both natural fibers. The blended option consists of either two threads of wool mixed with one thread of silk (33% silk content) or two threads of silk mixed with one thread of wool (66% silk content), which enhances the delicate sheen and pleasant feel.
The materials also influence the color structure: their characteristics result in varying degrees of perceived color gradients, but all offer a dynamic look. This gives each Thaila Plain rug its unmistakable charm. Hand-knotted rugs impress with the highest quality.
