Our inspiration, the Tibey C2678-X533, comes from the Tibey Collection, which is characterized by exclusive carpets with a particularly high silk content and the special Loop & Cut knotting system.
The collection impresses with partly classic, partly abstract designs, which are broken up with this unusual knotting technique in order to achieve the popular vintage look on the one hand and, on the other hand, to create a changing look of the carpet that changes depending on the viewing angle.
Designer carpet with a special structure and feel
The reverse design of the Tibey C2678-X533 creates subtle contrasts. Here, the design of the carpet is shifted into the background and covered slightly irregularly by the light silk line - so this carpet sets colorful accents with a subtle appearance at the same time.
The exclusive designer carpet Tibey C2678-X533 has a special look thanks to the special Loop & Cut knotting system and impresses with its exciting surface.
This is ensured by the alternating Weaving of the wool and silk: only the silk line is cut (cut), while the wool line remains closed (loop). The actual carpet design moves into the background as a closed wool line and is partly slightly covered by the beige silk line.
The irregular overlays of the multi-colored triangles create a subtle look for the carpet, which changes its appearance depending on where the viewer is looking and always offers new impressions.
High-quality virgin wool and silk
The Tibey C2678-X533 can be ideally integrated into a wide variety of interiors - from puristic and straightforward to the popular country house style.
The rugs in the Tibey Collection come from a Nepalese Manufactory , and experienced weavers handcraft these high-quality pieces with approximately 160,000 knots per square meter. Only exclusive materials such as virgin wool from the Himalayan highlands and silk are used, ensuring the rug's refined look and feel.
The special combination of materials makes the carpet very easy to care for, and despite the high silk content of 50 percent, it is very robust and durable. Like all Mischioff products, this carpet also meets all the requirements of the fair trade label STEP, an independent, international control body for fair trade carpets .
