Handmade custom-made carpets from pure natural materials
The exceptional quality of the designer carpets is firmly rooted in the company's philosophy. Only high-quality natural materials are used in the production of the custom-made carpets: Himalayan highland wool , known for its soft yet robust nature, and fine natural silk from China serve as the main components of the Mischioff collections.
Additionally, lyocell, hemp, nettle, or other natural fibers are sometimes used to achieve special effects . All materials are hand-spun, guaranteeing a particularly soft and easy-care character for the carpets.
Another quality feature is the complete handcrafted production carried out by hand by skilled craftspeople in the Manufactory Weaving a custom-made carpet typically takes around three to four months – the meticulous knotting process takes time, but this guarantees the carpets' long lifespan .

Choose your desired rug and order it as a custom-made rug
Within the various collections, there are currently around 1,000 different designs and countless color variations available, which can be ordered as custom-made carpets. After selecting the desired designs, the designers create a visualization of the carpets in the desired size and, if desired, also in the desired colors. Visualizing the carpet in the room or project area is also possible and is usually a free service.
Especially when color matching is required, the next step is to create a sample to check the colors and texture one last time. Only when everything meets the individual requirements does the custom-made carpet go on the loom. After completion, the carpet undergoes a final quality control check at the main warehouse in Zurich before being shipped to the customer.
