Carpet designs according to customer requirements

Activating your own creative power and turning an idea into something that you can touch always has something magical about it. Magic that can be felt. The result of such a process can be admired at the Kempinski Hotel Engelberg. In close collaboration between Mischioff AG and the Kempinski Palace Engelberg, unique, highly individual carpets were created in a customer design that complement around 129 rooms and suites in the impressive hotel.

Preserving tradition with carpet art

The special carpet designs and the outstanding quality of the carpet art also add charm in the Cigar Lounge, the Palace Hotel Bar, the lobby and the Meeting & Events foyer. With its high-quality furnishings, the Kempinski Hotel Engelberg underlines the charm of the building built in 1904. At that time, the Hotel Europaischer Hof in the center of Engelberg bordered the historic Kursaal in the immediate vicinity of the Kurpark. A unique location that inspired the investor, Han's Europe AG, to build a new top hotel.

Matching carpets to the architecture

The new accents that turn the expanded hotel complex into an oasis of well-being also include the individual carpet designs in the high-quality junior suites and the suites in the 5-star range. On 4,305 square meters with banquet and seminar rooms, a wellness area and first-class gastronomy, the carpets adapt optimally to the historical-architectural hotel structure.

The extensive renovation and new building was implemented by Eberli AG, according to planning by the architectural offices of Masswerk Architekten AG, Graber Pulver Architekten AG, Hilmer Sattler Architekten Ahlers Albrecht, Arge Architekturbüro Iwan Bühler GmbH and Sigrist Schweizer Architekten AG.
