Six worlds in one building
The townhouse in Montreal combines completely different interior design styles and relies on carpets from Mischioff
Whether it's a purple children's room dream, a rustic dining room or a green-painted, modern conservatory – the town house in Montreal is a real eye-catcher for every design lover.

In 2016, the Montreal townhouse was furnished by Alain Courchesne of the design studio Igloo Design. He selected six large rugs from our various Mischioff collections for the different rooms, each telling its own story and embodying a distinct style. Using different rug collections can enhance both the functionality and aesthetics of a space, and the Montreal townhouse is a prime example of this.

Each rug, belonging to a different collection, has its own unique characteristics that individually enhance the overall ambiance of the rooms. These characteristics include the material and pile height, as well as colors and patterns. For example, a green rug, bringing the freshness of nature into the conservatory, underscores the connection to the outdoors that is brought into the building through the floor-to-ceiling windows, while muted colors with antique-inspired patterns emphasize the rustic style with its solid wooden furniture in the dining area.

This unique use of our carpets allows for special orientation within the building and ensures clearly recognizable functionality of the rooms.
Would you like to implement your own designs for your hotel, bank, or business, or combine different collections from our range to create a diverse and cohesive look for your property? Then contact us. Together, we'll make your carpet dreams a reality.
