Thurgauer Kantonalbank creates new connections
Carpets with delicate color gradients from Mischioff AG ensure a new coziness in Romanshorn
Digitalization is also progressing in banking. One of the advantages for branches: The separation of bank employees or counter areas and customers by protective walls has therefore become obsolete. Accordingly, the carpets with gentle color gradients soften this separation and create a connection that invites you to talk in a cozy atmosphere. Goodbye bulletproof glass – hello to customer-friendly offices.
This architecturally newly created openness paired with appropriate discretion is also reflected in the interior design. Architect Susanne Fritz relies on carpets from the traditional Swiss company Mischioff. The experts in high-quality, hand-knotted carpets were able to score points with custom-made products for the Thurgauer Kantonalbank Romanshorn.
For the furnishing of the public customer area, samples were initially made that showed the unprecedented color gradient of the products. The custom-made items were then made. The blue and purple color gradients are uniquely accentuated in the oval shape.
If a bank wants to create something, it is trust and connection through personal contact with customers. In the newly designed customer area of the Thurgauer Kantonalbank Romanshorn, the open ambience and the heat-radiating carpets from Dani and Sascha Misio's design room invite you to grow precisely this trust. The design also takes up other elements of the interior design - round, tapered skylights and large lampshades create a beautiful play of lights with the scale. On the walnut parquet, which was laid in different directions, the Mischioff masterpieces create zoning for more comfort.
