Redesign of the lobby and fireplace room

Crackling fireplace, warm cocoa, children's laughter and little hands and feet leaving their delicate traces on the carpet in front of the flames - sounds like a family day in the fireplace room? Exactly. Extravagant and child-friendly – ​​these go hand in hand at the Hotel Saratz. With its high quality in a relaxed atmosphere, the Hotel Saratz is located in a natural setting. Anyone who stays here cannot avoid feeling comfortable. To ensure that this feeling remains, the client attaches great importance to moving with the times. This means the ambience is continually raised to the next level.

The architect and client relied on the collaboration with Mischioff AG to redesign the lobby and fireplace room. To match the green-bluish stone floor and the sand-colored materials of the upholstery, a carpet concept was developed that is individually tailored to the Hotel Saratz project.

The combination of both concepts (furniture and carpet art) was implemented by the working group Atelier Chiavi and Ruch & Partner Architekten AG.

The Engadine offers a distinctive backdrop for various events. In addition to seminars and business events, the Hotel Saratz also provides a fantastic backdrop for weddings and other family celebrations. Last but not least, the light displays around the hotel create a special atmosphere. This can also be felt in the lobby and fireplace room, which are now equipped with unique pieces from the Mischioff Manufactory . Produced sustainably and fairly, the unique carpets are true works of art from the creative streak of the two managing directors and designers Dani and Sascha Misio, which not only feel good under your feet, but can also be enjoyed with a good, social conscience.
