Tailor -made carpet art for a unique home

Some spaces deserve something very special - something that not only complements, but underlines the character of the room. This is exactly what we were able to realize with a carpet of our Thaila Collection for an exclusive residential project in Zurich. Planned by the visionary studio Jaar and realized Frauenfeld via our esteemed sales partner Womenfeld, a carpet was created that is perfectly integrated into the room - as if it has always been there.

Our hand -knotted color gradient carpet with 160,000 knots per square meter combines fine craftsmanship with an exceptional design. But this project presented us with a special challenge: two striking columns in the living area asked for a tailor -made solution.

With the highest precision, the carpet was manufactured in one piece and then cut into two parts in our Manufactory . The excerpts for the columns were created on site to guarantee a perfect fit. The shock edges were planned so that they disappear invisibly under the sofa - an apparently effortless solution that actually required a lot of manual skills.

The result? A carpet that not only enriches the room, but adapts it, complements it, completed it. A proof that true quality not only shows itself in the optics, but also in the perfect harmony with architecture.
