Our inspiration, the Tibey C2678-X533, comes from the Tibey Collection, which is characterized by exclusive carpets with a particularly high silk content and the special Loop & Cut knotting system.
The collection impresses with designs that are partly classic and partly abstract, which are broken up with this extraordinary knotting technique in order to achieve the popular vintage look on the one hand and to create a changing appearance of the carpet that changes depending on the viewing angle.
Designer rug with a unique structure and feel
The reverse design of the Tibey C2678-X533 creates subtle contrasts. Here, the design of the rug is pushed into the background and slightly irregularly covered by the light silk line – thus, this rug sets colorful accents with a simultaneously understated appearance.
The exclusive designer rug Tibey C2678-X533 has a special look thanks to the special Loop & Cut knotting system and impresses with its exciting surface.
This is achieved through the alternating Weaving of wool and silk: only the silk line is cut, while the wool line remains closed (loop). This allows the actual carpet design, as a closed wool line, to recede into the background and be partially obscured by the beige silk line.
The irregular overlapping of the multicolored triangles creates a subtle look for the carpet, which changes its appearance depending on where the viewer looks from and always offers new impressions.
High-quality virgin wool and silk
The Tibey C2678-X533 can be ideally integrated into a wide variety of interiors – from purist and linear to the popular country house style.
The carpets in the Tibey Collection originate from a Nepalese Manufactory , where experienced weavers handcraft these high-quality pieces with approximately 160,000 knots per square meter. Only exclusive materials such as virgin wool from the Himalayan highlands and silk are used, ensuring the carpet's luxurious look and feel.
The unique combination of materials makes this rug very easy to care for, and despite its high silk content of 50 percent, it is very robust and durable. Like all Mischioff products, this rug also meets all the requirements of the STEP Fair Trade label, an independent, international certification body for Fair Trade rugs .
