The shimmering pile of the silk changes its appearance depending on the light, while its delicate surface provides a pleasantly caressing sensation against the skin. This unique material effect, combined with the interplay of colors and shapes, makes the Sichouk SI45 a rug that constantly transforms its appearance.
The design of the Sichouk SI45 appears simple and straightforward. However, the six colors and repeating geometric shapes are arranged so artfully that they create an extraordinary three-dimensional effect.
The contrasting colors create a shadow effect, which is further emphasized by the foreshortening and never identical lines. There, in our Manufactory , the yarn is produced, dyed, and finally woven according to the design specifications. All these processes are done entirely by hand. Our carpets are inspected and certified as Fair Trade by the Swiss Fair Trade label STEP.
