An attractive pattern inspired by oil paintings

The Mamlin Collection captivates with artistic color gradients and delicate lines. The design concept originated with Dani Misio, artist and chief designer at Mischioff.

He created impressive oil paintings on canvas with colorful stripes and exhibited them in an art gallery in Zurich. Years later, Misio developed these into artistic designer rugs for various interior design styles and compiled them into the Mamlin Collection . Among them is the Mamlin MA01 with ten carefully selected color tones.

Blue and brown set the tone, blending seamlessly into one another. Black wool loops provide welcome contrast without distracting from the dominant colors. The result is a captivating overall impression, boasting an aesthetic combination of warm and cool nuances.

The Mamlin MA01 integrates seamlessly into both nautically themed living spaces and minimalist interiors. Whether it's a charming beachfront property, a prestigious office with leather furnishings, or a luxurious hotel lobby, our Mamlin MA01 enhances any space with its elegant lines and striking color combinations.

Finest natural materials and precise craftsmanship

For the production of the Mamlin MA01, we use 50 percent high-quality Himalayan highland wool and 50 percent fine silk. While silk gives a rug its popular sheen, highland wool transforms it into an extremely robust, easy-care, and moisture-regulating home accessory. In addition, the fibers have excellent resilience and thermal insulation, benefiting both the room's climate and acoustics.

The production process presents challenges due to the multifaceted design. The knotting technique is intricate and demands meticulous care. Without skilled craftsmanship, realizing the designs would be impossible. The experienced weavers at the Mischioff carpet Manufactory in Nepal spend approximately three to four months working on a single Mamlin design carpet . Four weeks alone are dedicated to the finishing touches.

Elegant designer rug with a soft feel

The natural materials are hand-knotted and carefully processed. The innovative Loop & Cut knotting technique is used to create intentional variations in height. The closed row of wool knots lies lower to accentuate the silk pile. The raised placement of the silk, with its silky sheen, gives the impression that the Mamlin MA01 is a pure silk rug .

The same applies to the feel: the carpet feels wonderfully soft and conveys a sense of exclusivity when walked on and touched. Approximately 160,000 knots per square meter ensure dimensional stability and durability. The pile height of about seven to nine millimeters further enhances the pleasant walking experience.
